Education guide in TC260's AI application security guidelines, used with the general part (TC260-PG-20268A). Educational institutions are to manage AI use by role, age and stage with whitelists, algorithm filing and security assessment, set up ethics review, and keep AI in an assisting role whose outputs people check, with notice, objection, human review and appeal channels. Minors need age-appropriate defaults, guardian consent and supervised use. Rules for AI-assisted teaching, learning, research, management and assessment include emergency takeover, a ban on AI-generated project applications, papers or research reports, and no negative evaluation of individuals.

Version v1.0-202609, released on 15 Sept 2026 with notice 网安秘字〔2026〕118号 together with the general provisions and the health and audiovisual guides. It applies to educational institutions, defined as education administrative departments and their affiliated units and schools of all levels and types. Primary school pupils are not to use open-ended content generation alone, and important decisions on students, staff, resources and degrees are not to execute AI conclusions directly. Drafting units include the Ministry of Education's Department of Science, Technology and Informatization and its Education Management Information Center. Annex A describes typical scenarios and their main risks.
