Refresh of 18 Oct 2026 under the rule that level A needs the instrument's own text or an official register. The only stored source is IDFPR's press release of 4 Aug 2025 (idfpr.illinois.gov PDF, stored 11 Oct 2026, unchanged on 18 Oct 2026), an announcement, so the title, date and status count as alt-official and the record is level B. The release confirms the title, that Governor Pritzker signed the Act 'on Friday' before the Monday release (1 Aug 2025), that it passed both chambers unanimously and took effect on signature, the prohibition and the permitted administrative and supplementary uses, IDFPR's power to investigate and the fine of up to $10,000. The Act's text (Public Act 104-0054, a number taken from a web search) and the bill status page on ilga.gov were requested in this run and could not be stored: the connection to ilga.gov failed again, as in earlier runs. The Public Act number and the General Assembly in official_identifier are therefore not in a stored source.
