Section 836.14 makes theft of a sexually explicit image with intent to promote it, and possessing a stolen image with intent to promote it for financial gain, third-degree felonies, and promoting such an image for financial gain without consent a second-degree felony. The act also amends the definitions of child pornography in ss. 775.0847 and 827.071 to cover images created, altered, adapted or modified by electronic, mechanical or other means to portray an identifiable minor, raises damages for sexual cyberharassment and increases penalties for sexual activities involving animals.
