Entered in Trámite Parlamentario No. 1 of 2 Mar 2026 and referred to the committees on General Legislation, on science (the Chamber's list abbreviates the name) and on Human Rights and Guarantees. The bill's explanatory statement says it re-presents bill 4079-D-2024, which had lapsed, and frames it in the OECD AI Principles. The Council for the Promotion and Development of AI would sit within the Cabinet Office, with one ad honorem representative of each ministry, meet at least quarterly and report each year to Congress on how the law is applied (Arts. 10-11).
