CAUTION: no stored file supports the title, the Public Act number, the approval date, the effective date or the status. The ILGA bill status page, the record's official source, could not be stored in any attempt from 11 to 16 Oct 2026 (connection timed out; robots.txt unreachable). The only stored file is the Illinois Department of Human Rights legislative-updates page (dhr.illinois.gov, stored 14 Oct 2026, the record's secondary source); it says that recent additions to Illinois civil rights law include 'regulations on artificial intelligence in employment', that proposed IDHR rules are published in the Illinois Register with comment periods of typically 45 days, and that no comment period is open, but it names no statute, Public Act or date. Bill number, Public Act number and dates were carried over from the version 1 record and still need an official source. IDHR rules implementing the notice duty were proposed in the Illinois Register of 15 May 2026 (50 Ill. Reg. 6794 per law-firm alerts) and withdrawn in June 2026 (the Illinois Register of 26 Jun 2026 lists a withdrawal of proposed rules on the Procedures of the Department of Human Rights); both issues on ilsos.gov and the Public Act text on ilga.gov were requested for storage. These rulemaking facts rest on search results and secondary sources only and are not stated in the record.
